The new 9-hole course by King-Collins will be part of a neighborhood that’s part of a larger collection of planned amenities. It will be reversible, allowing for play from 1,000 to 3,000 yards, and will be accessible via boat through Palmetto Bluff’s inland waterway system. King-Collins 9-Hole Course was designed by King-Collins Golf Course Design, which created Sweetens Cove Golf Club in Tennessee and Landmand Golf Club in Nebraska. Later this year, the May River Golf Course will soon have competition from two new courses. ![]() ![]() Gargis noted that it’s on the 2021-22 Golf Digest list of best courses in the state. The membership fee is $40,000 there also are annual dues and additional fees for a-la-carte amenities.
